To take courses at Newman, you will need the following technology and skills:

Modern PC or Mac (desktop or laptop) with high-speed Internet. Computer labs are available for use on campus at the Dugan Library.
Webcam and microphone capable of video-conferencing.
(Most courses using online exams will require a webcam and microphone.)

Browsers: Google Chrome is preferred, Microsoft Edge or Firefox. Internet Explorer is not supported in Canvas.
Additional software or equipment may be required by your instructor. These will be specified when you enroll.
Android and iOS devices along with Chromebooks can be used in Canvas.
