To take courses at Newman, you will need the following technology and skills: 

Technology:

  • Modern PC or Mac (desktop or laptop) with high-speed Internet. Computers are available in the 2nd floor lounge in Bishop Gerber Science Center. 

  • Webcam and microphone capable of video-conferencing. 
    (Most courses using online exams will require a webcam and microphone.)

  • Microsoft Office and Google Docs

  • Additional software or equipment may be required by your instructor. These will be specified when you enroll.

  • Android and iOS devices along with Chromebooks can be used in Canvas.
